Are you interested in training to be a teacher?

The East London Early Years and Schools Partnership is calling for applications from the most able graduates to train to be teachers. The School Direct Programme allows recent top graduates, or those who have been working in a career, to combine training with learning on the job. We offer both salaried and unsalaried training positions.

The aim of our School Direct programme is to bring together expert classroom teachers in schools with specialist university teachers. Together, we provide very practical training with high academic and theoretical quality, informed by the values and strengths of the many successful schools in our partnership. Your training will meet the needs and requirements of schools in East London.

The University of East London is our external partner, providing the university-based training and quality assurance for our programme.

Teach First

East London Early Years and Schools Partnership are partners with Teach First, a charity tackling educational disadvantage. Our work with the Early Years programme means that we can facilitate the placement of Teach First EY trainees including the birth to three experience.
